lagolunaConc-r-eal is a bit of an odd song in that there are multiple (at least 3) sets of lyrics that came with the official upload… and none of them are what’s being sung! So what’s going on here?
The first and last couple lines of the song are the same between all versions so they must have some significance.

The state of the lyrics is likely meant to reflect the ramblings of a “jumbled up consciousness”. They’re often so nonsensical I have to wonder if they might be ai-generated? (a lot of people say ‘this feels ai-generated’ as a way to convey that they think something is either derivative slop or super whacky and crazyyy, but I genuinely think it’s a likely possibility and I don’t mean that with any derision when I say that) Either way, attempting to translate them without overextending my search for meaning is very difficult. Within all the nonsense there are certain fragments here and there that feel very intentional, but it might be impossible to separate my personal reading from my translation for this song. I’ve marked lines I think are significant or notable across all versions
There are two characters present: teto, styled as a scientist of sorts with her lab coat and a palette-swapped dark teto who I will refer to as ‘idto’ since she shows up during the “within an overgrown Ego an Id lies in wait conc-r-ealed” line. Idto represents the dark parts of the human mind straining to break free it’s constraints, she is the “something [that] dwells within” “within anyone, within everyone […] discreetly”… probably
The wordplay in the title is translated pretty directly, “conc-r-eal” is just the word conceal with an r added to create the word “real”. It might be a bit inelegant but it gets the point across. 潜リ有ル literally reads as “to dwell concealed” but has the word “リアル/real” hidden inside (the ア character is written as 有).

As of writing we have all but one line fully transcribed, but there is of course a possibility of error and we currently have no way to confirm the accuracy of these lyrics.

[1]: I’d say the most consistent “theme” of conc-r-eal is “the conflict between the desire to express yourself accurately and the deterioration of coherency”. This deterioration embodied by idto who is a representation of the raw overwhelming force of the unconscious mind.
[2]: It’s unusual for a single through-line to persist for this long…
[3]: This verse is why I call the palette-swapped teto “idto” as I explained above… It’s perhaps also noteworthy that of all the nonsense present throughout the song “revengiment” is the only word that’s just plainly made up.
[4]: The word used for coherent here (纏まらない) doesn’t refer to coherency of speech, it’s more of a general “doesn’t come together properly”. I wonder if the replica that doesn’t come together is idto…
